Eligibility Criteria & Qualification
To be eligible for the position of Secretary at ETPB, you must fulfill the following criteria:
a. Hold a second-class master's degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in business administration, public administration, or social sciences. Additionally, you should preferably possess five years of relevant experience in your field; or
b. Possess a bachelor's degree in law from an accredited foreign or local university recognized by CHEC, and preferably have five years of experience in business administration, public administration, asset management, or law. Furthermore, out of the five years of relevant experience, you should have at least three years of experience related to the administration and functioning of a body corporate or public body.
Terms & Conditions for Appointment as Secretary, ETPB
Upon appointment as Secretary, you will enjoy the benefits and terms of service admissible to government servants appointed in BPS-19 on a contract basis. Additionally, you may be entitled to a special ETPB allowance, subject to the ToRs/criteria set by the ETP Board. The appointment will be made based on the recommendation of the performance evaluation committee, and the term will be for three years, extendable by two years based on the committee's recommendations. Upon completion of your term or the age of sixty-five years (whichever is earlier), you will cease to hold office.
